looking at the cut up method multiple times, I wanted to create a literary outcome of it, taking in consideration of how William Burroughs and David Bowie used it to create their outcomes. How I created the cut up, was from the Gothic novel 'Frankenstein'. I wanted to use this book because the underlining messages are relevant to nowadays. Victor Frankenstein created this inhumane monster from the science, inspired by Galvanism. The monster also gets rejected from its owner and from society itself, this shows what ugly factors the modern world and science can do and create. such as a creature, full of bitter indignation of how society has treated him, so he becomes murderous to humanity.

I used chapters with descriptive and heartfelt quotations to give my cut ups some interesting poetic language. This is present in chapter 15 and 16 when the creature reflects on how he has been treated.

Article on how to do the cut up method and different ways you can do it.
