I used the magazine experiment cut ups, that conveyed the cut up method visually and the objectification of the female bodies in fashion media and decided to paint the ones that stood out to me the most on a much bigger scale.

Overall I am happy with this painting, I like how it visually stands out from the dull wood and also how I've added the collage edges which has created an almost 3D effect that the painting looks as if its jumping out. The collage edges also give the painting that unusual flare and recognition that it is an impression of a real cut up collage.

The minor problem that occurred was that the surface of the plywood was very rough and even broken in some places such as the face, which the paint covers up anyway. Furthermore the plywood was too thick resulting in struggle in weight, to carry it to places.

So i could use MDF board or thinner wood resulting in lighter travel.
